Download this album in hi-res mp3s or pretty much any format you'd ever want.
(Note: all proceeds of your donations would go to the artist to buy better music gear or for other artist-related expenses... like our beer and coffee etc. But seriously, if you're in a position you cant donate, that's cool too, feel free to download. One thing I ask though is to share it to as many people as you can! Put it on a mix cd for your girlfriend, boyfriend, whatever, i dont care. The more people that could get a hold of this album, the better!)
Fake Accents was initially my final music project at school, which I decided to turn into my official EP. I re-mixed, re-recorded, and mastered two older songs, "I Left My Heart" featuring Owel Alvero and "Report Writer Pt. 2" hoping to give them a little face lift, some shine, some love. Right before I moved to the States, my hard drive crashed and I lost a lot of the music I was working on. As painstaking as it was, I had to re-do many of them over again. However, "Just For Tonight" is a brand new song that I collaborated on with drummer Blair Shots and my keyboard instructor Tio Banks. It was my first time doing songs that involved jazzy percussive ryhtms but I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. "Nasiraan" is a demo I did with Turbo Goth and Carlos Tanada. Unfortunately all the raw stems for this song are lost but I decided to include it in the EP anyway because I love it and it just feels right here.
I hope you all enjoy!!
And thanks for listening as always. Thanks to Nina for making the album art for me, to Owel, Turbo Goth and Carlos Tanada for working with me on these songs. I would also like thank my previous instructors Eric Corne and Spencer Yaras for sharing their technical knowledge. And lastly, Susan Park for the love, inspiration and support.
